8.5 mile run with my bro. We ran out about 2.5 miles and then started the hill repeat workout. We did 8 by 45 second hill repeats. The hill wasn't as killer as Webb hill so I shortened the recovery to 2 minutes. We cooled down back to camp.

PM I am a little disappointed because there was no time for an afternoon run. We were walking around quite a bit though and I am hoping to make up a few miles on Friday or Saturday.

8 mile run with my bro. We are out in the country here in Cali. We passed the best dairy in 2000 and a Christmas tree farm (pretty neat). We averaged a 7:20 per mile.

8 mile run with 18 minutes of tempo. I felt pretty good during the run. During the tempo I averaged a 5:55 per mile. After the tempo we cooled down back to base. Long drive to SLC coming up.

8 mile run majority of which was on grass at a soccer park in West Jordan. I ran with my bro and we averaged around a 6:45 per mile pace. Surprisngly it felt pretty good. At the end of the run however my left knee (bothered me a bit last week) started bugging me a bit. It is nothing serious just something I want to keep my eye on.

8 mile run. I couldn't get the workout in on Friday so I did it today. I did 123321 (same amount of recovery). Cooled down afterwards.

7 miles total in the morning. We warmed up to Webb Hill and did 2x1 mile repeats. I died and felt super flat. I am going to take this as a learning experience and do better next time. I have never been tight in my back befor, but it is bugging me a bit. I rolled and stretched later while watching the Andy Griffith Show.

Today I ran a 5k in St. Anthony Idaho. I did a 3 mile warm up with my bro. It was a fun race. I got a 17:28 for the full 5k. After the race I cooled down 6 miles. It was fun to run through the town where my dad grew up. 

I fell asleep and did a 3 mile shake up run with my bro around midnight because I needed to make up for mileage the day before.

7 miles in the morning. We did a V02 max test today. I was not pleased with my performance and have been feeling a little flat recently. It will get better though.

6 miles in the morning. We did a warm up with 3x1 mile dirt hill repeats. The first one I got too comfortable so I was a little slow, but I felt good about my last two. We cooled down back to the thatchers. 

PM I ran 3 miles and tommy rode a bike next to me. He kept trying to inspire wtih me quotes. Needless to say, it was a good run.

I had work at 8 in the morning and I didn't feel like waking up super early, so I postponed the run until nightime. I ran 10 miles total. It felt pretty good and I feel like I have had a bit more energy these past few days. It was a good week of training.

In the morning we did a fartlek workout. It was a 12344321 with equal recovery. Not quite where I want to be, but I just have to keep working at it. Great work from the boys today!
