| | Ran an easy 3 miles in the morning. In the afternoon we had a tempo run. We warmed up 2.5 miles to the starting place. We started the tempo run a little slower than our goal pace but worked up to it. I liked the way it felt. I hardly looked at my watch during the run, but just focused on staying with the group. Me and Scott went for 18 minutes and averaged around a 5:49. We cooled down back to the cars.

| | Ran an easy 3 miles in the morning. It went by really quick because me and Ben were talking about the Chinees Acrobats we saw the night before. In the afternoon we did a 4.5 mile Kenyan run. I actually really enjoy those.

| | Today we did 2x200 then 1x800 and did three sets of those. I was really nervous for the workout because my legs were really tired and I felt pretty flat. Luckily once we got going I warmed up a bit and was able to have a decent workout. Afterwards a couple of the sophmores jogged on the turf until the rest of the boys finished. We cooled down another mile.

| | Woke up around 5:50 to get my run done before I went skiing. Ran 8 miles on the roads around my house. Legs felt pretty tired. I had a great day skiing!!!

Afternoon we did a 2.5 mile warm up and then the Kosmin test. Didn't do as well as I wanted, but it is somewhere to work from. We cooled down two more miles.

| | Three miles easy in the morning. My achillles was a little bit tight.
In the afternoon I started doing warm up and my achilles was really bugging me so I jogged 5 miles on the turf with a half mile warm up to start. I got home and ice and stretched.

| | Today I did a 2.5 mile warm up. Afterward we did four striders. We then started our workout which was 3x 1 mile repeats with a 400 recovery. I hit the first one at 5:18 second at 5:21 and third at 5:26. Scott and I jogged on the turf afterward until the rest of the boys were done with their workout. We cooled down 1 mile.

Afternoon we did a half mille warm up and calesthenics. After we did a 4 mille Kenyan run. Legs felt a little tired/tight, but good enough. I think I am going to get a massage, but I dont really want to. We did some plybota after. Great day!!

In the afternoon I did a 3.5 mile warm up. We did a 2 mille power run over in little valley. I hit a 10:58. It was a pretty good workout. I have learned that I can't spit. We cooled down back to the school.

| | Ran 10.5 miles today. Started with a half mile warm up and calesthenics. The workout was originally going to be on the track, but because there was a soccer tournament we did it out on the roads. The workout was 4x1 mile repeats. I hit the first one in a 5:22 and that is when I knew it was going to be a tough workout. The next one was partially uphill and I hit it in a 5:44, 3rd was a 5:33 and fourth was a 5:52. We cooled down back to the highschool and did 4x200 repeats.

In the afternoon we did a 2.5 mile warmup and then a 2 mile power run. I am not sure what my splits were per mile, but I finished with a 11:10. After we did 4x200 meter repeats. I felt really tired and my legs felt hammerdunked during the 2 mile cool down. We ended with a light core and stretch.

| | Today i did the Dogtown half marathon. As a team we jogged a little before the race to warm up. Coach wanted us to progress during the race so we eased into it going around a 6:30ish to start. I was able to stick with the group until about mile 8/9 and then they dropped me. I was not on cloud nine at mile nine. Overall I finished the race in a 123:25, which according to my watch (which could be off) was an average of 6:22 per mile. Last year I ran it and I got a 137:18 so I am happy with the improvement. I jogged around a little after the race to cool down and hurried off to work.

In the afternoon we did a half mile warmup, calisthenics and then did an 8 mile run. My left calf felt pretty tight at the beginning, but loosened up as we went along. Legs felt a little bit tired, but I am good to go! Probably should get to bed at a good time tonight because we have a big week ahead of us!

| | In the morning I biked for 30 minutes at the Summit.
In the afternoon I iced before practice and then my dad drove me and Joe over to the Summit to bike. We biked for an hour and did core and stretch afterwards.

| | Today in the morning I went to a spinning class. It was hard. I was sweating so much and my shirt was soaked when I was done. I didn't do any of the stand up parts because I didn't want to put pressure on my leg. In the afternoon I went and swam laps for around 30 minutes. I also did 3x 200 minutes (approximately) treading water with no arms.
