3 miles easy in the morning.

First race of the season at Cedar. Finished 10th overall with a time of 16:17. I am pleased with this race, but I know I can do better. It was so cool to see the cloud of desert hill runners ahead. Overall great race from the team!

Today we went over to the park for our workout. We did a 2 mile warm up and 4x1 mile repeats. Felt pretty good for the first 3 and died the last one. Legs still feel a little flat and I think I need to work on getting to bed earlier. The team is doing awesome and I appreciate the possitive atmosphere. 

AM 3 miles easy with some exercise band strength training

3 miles easy in the morning.

Afternoon I came home from school and I felt really tired (I was falling asleep in psychology). I took about an hour nap before getting ready to go to the park. Got to the park warmed up with the team. I ran about a mile loop for the race. I felt alright, but still know I can do better. It was fun to do a relay. Afterwards my stomach started bugging me, but after awhile it felt better. We did 3x5 minute cruises afterwards. Legs felt heavier than I wanted them too and I am going to try and get to bed earlier to help with recovery. Great kids on the team and I look forward to the rest of the season.

3 miles easy in the morning.

Afternoon- There was lightning so we had to run inside today. I think we got around 4 miles. Kale did a pretty killler core and I am going to be pretty sore. I ran 3 more miles later in the evening and it felt great!

AM. We ran 3 miles in the high school due to weather.

PM. We started with a two mile warm up. After we started the workout, which was 6x500 meter dirt hill repeats. I feel really good about the workout. I feel like my legs are finally coming back and I enjoyed it. My only regret is that I totally died on the last one. I am going to have to focus on that next time. Overall great workout!

AM-3 miles easy

PM. Today was a great day!! We had an easy five miles and to make the day even better during US history Sarah Milne came and sat literally on my desk and started talking to me (and others, but that is not important). Lets just say not only was I learning history, I was making history. Unfortunately, the only thing we really talked about was chemistry. Hopefuly talking about one type of chemistry will lead to the other.

AM-3 miles easy.

PM. Today the workout was at Bloomington Hills North Park. We did a 2 mile warm up and it felt pretty toasty. Our workout was 2x2mile repeats. I read the website wrong and thought we had 2x1 mile repeats, so that was a bit of a shock. Turns out my watchs memory is full so I wasnt able to get my times today. We  had 5 minutes of recovery between each interval. We cooled down a mile after.

PM- We drove up to Salt Lake to run at the State Course. We ran the 3 mile course and did 6 or 8 striders afterwards (I can't remember). BYU also won, so it was just overall a great day.

AM- 3 miles easy

PM- Today we were scheduled to go run at BHNP, but the there was some lightning outside. We ran inside the school for about 20-25 minutes before going over to the park. At the park we did a 2 mile time trial. I finished in an 11:32 (it ended up being a little over 2 miles) Still not quite where I want to be, but I am moving in the right direction. A possitive I can take away from today is that I felt like I had energy and didn't feel super flat. We had 6 finishes after the time trial and cooled down a mile afterwards. Great work from the guys today!
